Sometimes you don’t find photos where you go, but only on the way there or back. In this case, I’d visited Walbridge Park in Toledo and didn’t really find anything I got excited about. On the way back though, I saw a bunch of flowers planted in a roundabout, so I stopped to stick my camera into them. I’m always torn when shooting bees whether to use my telephoto or risk getting up close and person with a smaller lens. When I’m trying for a close up shot like this, I don’t as often like the results with my telephoto, because it’s harder to line up a detailed shot when you’re ten feet away.
