Dodging Flowers

Sometimes the best shots are found randomly while you’re driving from one place to another. One one of my trips through the U.P. I drove past an old truck in someone’s front yard alongside the highway. I had to maneuver a bit to find an angle that didn’t show their house and driveway, but I really liked the results. There’s something about seeing old remains of cars or trucks in the woods or with plants and flowers growing in around it that just makes me reflective. (Not like metal is reflective.)

I’m hoping some day I will be able to do shots like this without worrying the whole time about offending someone though… the whole time I was getting my shots here, I kept expecting to hear someone hollering out the front door of the house at me. 🙂
