I’ve often found that the weather that makes most people run inside is the most fun to be outside with a camera. Water and the cold make for great and unusual sights. Differences in the levels of oxygen or impurities in the water change the color and texture. And the temperature seems to create different kinds of ice, too. In my opinion, it’s worth bundling up and braving some frostbitten fingers. (Though I did get a pair of gloves with removable fingertip covers to make frostbite a little less likely. I’m not crazy.)
