Hauling Nothing

Not to infrequently I end up with a shot where I can’t decide whether I like it or not. Usually they are the result of random things I caught while working toward something completely different. In this case, I’d stopped to take a photo of a pair of old abandoned trucks, but this caught my eye as I got back to my car. (The tracks were from my just having driven through.)

Things I don’t like: it feels random and empty to me, not a lot of color variation, and doesn’t immediately tell a story that makes sense to me. Things I do like: I love the curved lines of the tracks I made and how they relate to the straight line of truck trailers, and how the clouds frame them in.
