I See You

I didn’t get the shot I was going for here, thanks to a lot of brush along the shoreline. I was trying to move slow as to not scare the bird away, but every time I got into a good spot, he’d move. I wasn’t too upset with this result though, as I really liked the eye peeking out and looking right at me. I thought about cropping the reflection half of the photo out, since you can see his face more fully in that one, but ended up leaving it in. I also thought about trying to edit out the reeds in the bottom right corner but decided against it for the moment. I wanted to print this, I think I would edit out the reeds and crop off a bit from the bottom, maybe up to about halfway through his reflected body.
