Taken on a quick stop at a Lake Superior beach on my way from Munising to Marquette, this is one of my favorite photos from the trip. I love that the sand and stones seem smoother than the water and sky. (This shot is similar to another one I’ve posted that I called Stone Becomes Sand. The main difference being that this one has some of the shoreline showing in it at the right.)
I’m pretty sure anyone watching had a good laugh… I had to keep jumping up and moving backward to keep from getting the camera (or me) soaking wet when the waves would roll in.
