Light In The Woods

On one of my efforts to drag my youngest son into the outdoors, we wandered some trails at Side Cut Park along the Maumee River. I found the setting sun poking through a spot in the woods near a fallen tree that caught my attention. I really liked the light, though this was right after I’d gotten my new camera and my unfamiliarity with it’s personality kept me from getting quite the shot I was going for. The ISO is way higher than I’d have liked. All that said, I still like the way the light hits the grass and brush in this image, and especially the branches.
