Somewhere near Epoufette in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, there’s an abandoned house on the shore of Lake Michigan. I’ve stopped a few times on trips back and forth, and this shot was taken shortly after getting my first camera (Canon EOS Rebel T3). I hadn’t really planned the shot at all, but really ended up liking the contrast of the beat up wall against the vibrant trees outside. It looked a bit to me like a picture hanging on the wall instead of a broken window.
