On highway 23 in Michigan, about 9 or 10 miles north of Ohio, there’s a junk yard hidden on the west side of the road. Depending on the season, you can see more or less of it. But I find it fascinating, given how dense it is within the trees. This photo in particular had a texture to it that I ended up really liking – the contrast of the vertical nature lines of trees and brush, with the more horizontal non-nature cars… and I think the color being largely from the cars makes it stand out to me as well.
