At first I thought it was dust on the lens, when I got back to edit this. Turns out the bugs are just much more numerous and visible at the right time during the evening.
My lens wasn't quite big enough to get as close as I would have liked for this shot, but I kind of ended up liking the bugs and the general background for this. It does feel like it captured what it felt like to be there that evening.
