Sometimes a photo just asks to be displayed differently. In this case, for some reason, it looks better to me turned on its side. Made me think of an eyeball – the lake watching for something. The glass balls are fun to play with in various landscape situations… though it’s difficult to be creative with them. It’s so easy to just stick them in front of something in the background and snap the shot. I personally like using them along the shoreline, with the rocks and water. You get some unpredictable (but potentially more interesting) results.
