I’d intended to get some shots at Magee Marsh but they were shut down for hunting of some kind or another, so I ended up walking around the ponds at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge which is nearby. Not as much woods you can get into, but sometimes some birds… in this case I apparently found the place where all swans are made. I found the tree line a little interesting as well, but mostly it was the number of birds. I couldn’t get close to the actual pond they were in, so it was a chance to use my big lens, which I haven’t really hauled out too often yet.
