The closest I get to fortune telling. 🙂 While wandering the shoreline of Presque Isle way up in Marquette, Michigan, I was at first going for an image focusing on the stones on the beach. But then tried to catch the swimmers in the background instead. They’re kind of hard to make out because of the size, but I liked this shot anyway. In particular, I liked the sun and it’s reflection.
I usually have the glass ball in my gear bag, though so far I’ve done pretty much typical uses of it, like this one. I’m hoping to take some time soon to experiment and see if I can come up with some more interesting ways of using it. If you’d like to play with these kinds of shots, the glass balls are pretty cheap and available on Amazon – just search for “crystal ball” and you’ll find different sizes.
