The Leaves Left

Sometimes with a photo I go back and forth on whether I like it or not. This one is one of those. Ultimately, I’m drawn back by the combination of the sharp lines in the branches and the smoothness of the reflection. I also like the opposing lightness of the branches and the darkness of the woods behind them. If the root systems were more widely spread, that would probably be enough to win me over all the way – the mud and stones are a bit boring, I think. What do you think?
