I didn’t get up to Kensington Metropark in Michigan as often as I’d have liked this last summer, but did pull a few more edits from my older folders… the sandhill cranes there are probably way too comfortable with people. I’m always cautious when they’re looking for handouts, those face swords are like a foot long.
Initially I didn’t edit this image to use because I felt there were too many plants in the water… had it been clearer, I would have liked the reflection more. But, the more I looked at it the more I liked it. This was taken from the shoreline, he was about 10 feet out.
