I feel like this photo, so far, captures best my feeling of what winter is like in my home town of Ishpeming, Michigan. Somewhere under the snow, there’s woods. The only thing that would have made me like this photo better would have been if I could have captured it on a bright sunny day… though the snow would likely have melted pretty quickly from the branches leaving it not quite as thick looking.
