The big trick when taking photos of baby geese, is to always pay attention with the one eye that isn’t looking through the lens and make sure mommy or daddy doesn’t charge you. Even with my telephoto they weren’t thrilled with how close I was to their brood. I was surprised at the different ages of the babies between the various family clumps, these guys were the youngest I saw. I’m not the hugest fan of geese in general, but at this age they are adorable.
